Stoxmine is designed to be intuitive, but if you're new to stock analysis, some terms might be unfamiliar. This guide explains everything you'll see on the platform.
The Confidence Score (0–100)
This is the headline number for every stock. It answers one question: "How confident should I be in this stock right now?"
- 80–100 (Strong Buy): Multiple signals are converging positively. High probability setup.
- 60–79 (Buy): Majority positive. Good candidate for watchlist or entry.
- 40–59 (Hold): Mixed signals. Wait or maintain current position.
- 20–39 (Reduce): Deteriorating. Consider trimming.
- 0–19 (Exit): Red flags. Institutional outflow or fundamental breakdown.
Momentum Stage
Every stock is classified into one of three momentum stages:
- 🟢 Early Signal (Pre-Breakout): The stock is setting up but hasn't broken out yet. Lowest risk entry if the setup completes.
- 🔵 Breaking Out: The stock is actively breaking past resistance with volume confirmation. Momentum is live.
- 🟡 Extended: The stock has already moved significantly. Higher risk of a pullback from here.
Volume Surge
Shows how much higher today's trading volume is compared to the 20-day average. A "+180%" volume surge means 2.8x normal volume — a strong signal of institutional interest or a catalyst event.
Trader Mode
Stoxmine re-sorts the stock list based on your trading style:
- Intraday: Sorted by volume surge. Shows what's moving right now.
- Swing (2–15 days): Prioritises pre-breakout setups. Shows what's about to move.
- Investor (weeks–years): Sorted by overall Confidence Score. Shows the highest conviction names.
Sector Heatmap
The sidebar shows all sectors colour-coded by their daily performance. Green = outperforming, red = underperforming. Click any sector to filter the stock list to that sector only.
The Alert Feed
The Alerts page shows automated detections: score-band changes, golden crosses, bulk deals, result surprises, and pledge flags. Each alert is linked to the stock's detail page for deeper analysis.
Tips for Getting Started
- Start in Swing mode — it's the most versatile
- Focus on stocks scoring 70+ — these have the strongest signal convergence
- Use the "Early signals only" filter to find pre-breakout setups
- Check the FII/DII page daily to understand the institutional mood
- Add your real holdings to Portfolio Brain to get personalised diagnostics
