Stoxmine ("we", "our", "us") is an equity research and data intelligence platform for Indian markets. We are headquartered in India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information about you when you use our website at stoxmine.com and our web application (collectively, the "Services").

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you register for an account or join our waitlist.
• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps, device type, browser type, and IP address — collected automatically via server logs and analytics tools.
• Portfolio Data: Stock symbols, quantities, and average prices you enter into the Portfolio Brain feature. This data is stored locally in your browser by default and only transmitted to our servers for scoring computation.
• Communication Data: Messages you send to us via email or contact forms.
• Payment Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by a third-party gateway (e.g., Razorpay). We do not store card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Services.
• To send you transactional emails (account confirmation, alerts you configure).
• To send product updates and newsletters — you may opt out at any time.
• To compute your portfolio score and generate personalised signals.
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activity and security incidents.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share data with:

• Service Providers: Cloud hosting (e.g., AWS, Vercel), analytics (e.g., Plausible), and payment processors — only to the extent necessary to deliver the Services.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We use privacy-respecting analytics (no cross-site tracking). You can disable cookies in your browser settings but some features may not work correctly.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymised aggregate usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erase your data (right to be forgotten), subject to legal obligations.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password for your account.

Our Services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a prominent notice in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
